I mostly train alone but my husband helps me out on hard workouts

Sometimes I bike and I do weights

Monday: AM 4 miles / PM 8 miles

Tuesday: AM 4 miles / PM 4 miles

Wednesday: 7 miles

Thursday: AM 4miles / PM hill repeats

Friday: 9miles

Saturday: tempo

Sunday: long run


Sample Week during Indoor Season:

Monday: AM 7m / PM 5 m with 6 X 100m strides

Tuesday: Track Session at 3k/Mile Pace. 3X (800, 2 X 400 off 30 secs) in 2:02-2:04, and 59's. 3 mins rec.

Wednesday: 10miles

Thursday: 2 by 2400. In/Out 200's. Alternating pace 30/40

Friday: 7 miles easy

Saturday: 4 mile tempo. 19:30

Sunday: 14 miles steady


Sample Week during Summer Racing Period:

Monday: AM 4miles / PM 8miles

Tuesday: AM 4miles / PM 1600,1200,800,600,400,300,200

Wednesday: AM 4miles / PM 8miles

Thursday: something fast( 600s or 400s)

Friday: 5 miles

Saturday: fartlek or tempo

Sunday: long run
