| Why Do You Run? | The challenge that coincides with distance running is very much a love-hate relationship for me. The work is extremely demanding and exhausting, but the rewards are incalculable. I run for the moments of victory, personal and otherwise. I met my fiancé through the Georgia distance team, and my three bridesmaids in the wedding are teammates. Running has brought me so many wonderful experiences in traveling, relationships, and personal achievements, so I suppose I run for many reasons. |
| Tips for New Runners: | Set goals for yourself and remain positive. Improvement in distance running can be a calculated process and you need to enjoy the time spent training, not just the results. Have fun and find a friend to join you! |
