Diane's Story:
Diane is a three-time breast cancer survivor. First diagnosed 12 years ago, she has had two recurrences, the latest occurring in August 2007. At first she could only cry when she learned she had breast cancer for the third time. After two lumpectomies and radiation therapy twelve years prior, the thought of undergoing a double mastectomy and chemotherapy was daunting. But with the help of her loving family and friends she was able to find the strength to endure her latest battle. Diane completed her last chemotherapy treatment in December.
